Experts have evaluated that the current development of China's exhibition industry is overheated, while some experts judge it from the driving effect of the industry and believe that the exhibition industry is far from reaching the ideal state, let alone overheating. In order to come up with high-level policies, the key now is to strengthen research on the exhibition industry and truly understand why it is necessary to develop the exhibition industry? What problems has the exhibition industry solved for the real economy? What are the benefits for economic growth and the improvement of people's living standards? From the current achievements, research on the exhibition industry is still very weak. How to achieve balanced development of the exhibition industry through exhibition policies is both limited and encouraged, and requires serious consideration and research within the industry. 

        Is it blooming everywhere or prioritizing development in certain regions

       This is an important regional layout issue. The development of the exhibition industry requires certain basic conditions, such as natural geographical conditions, transportation and communication infrastructure, exhibition venues, industrial foundation, policy environment, etc. Not all cities and regions have these conditions, so the exhibition industry cannot flourish everywhere. It can only be developed selectively and with emphasis based on these conditions. So, which regions should be prioritized for development? Firstly, there are three heavyweight central cities in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, as these cities have already established the social, economic, and cultural foundations for the development of the exhibition industry. Whether it is organizers, exhibitors, or general audiences, they can find reasons to participate in exhibitions and conferences in these cities. Secondly, there are characteristic cities such as Dalian, Qingdao, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Zhuhai, Jinan, etc. These regions either have a monopoly in urban scenery or are regional economic and cultural centers and transportation hubs, making it easy to identify their own characteristics and "selling points" for developing the exhibition industry.
