1、 Scope of inspection report

Inbound exhibition items and their packaging materials, transportation vehicles, etc. for participating in international exhibitions.

2、 Inspection requirements

Before or during the entry of exhibition items, the consignor or their agent shall submit relevant certificates to the inspection and quarantine agency for inspection. The inspection and quarantine agency shall issue a "Customs Clearance Form for Imported Goods" in accordance with relevant regulations. Entry exhibits do not require quality inspection.

After the imported exhibition items arrive at the storage location, inspection and quarantine personnel carry out on-site quarantine, perform quarantine treatment on the imported containers, and take samples of the imported items according to relevant regulations. Exhibition items that have passed on-site quarantine or quarantine treatment can enter the exhibition hall for display, and are subject to supervision by inspection and quarantine agencies during the exhibition period. Those that fail the quarantine inspection and have no effective treatment methods shall be returned or destroyed.

Imported exhibition items must be supervised and managed by inspection and quarantine personnel during the exhibition period, and are only for exhibition purposes. They cannot be used for other purposes without permission. After the exhibition, all imported exhibition items must be returned, retained, or destroyed by the shipper or their agent under the supervision of inspection and quarantine personnel.

The nature of the exhibition items that have been retained for purchase has changed from exhibits to goods, and the inspector should handle the inspection procedures again. The requirements for re inspection are consistent with those for similar imported goods. Inspection and quarantine institutions conduct inspections according to standards and release qualified goods.

Exhibition items that require an official quarantine certificate for return should be reported to the inspection and quarantine agency for inspection before leaving the country. After passing the quarantine or pest control treatment, relevant certificates will be issued and allowed to leave the country.

3、 Documents to be provided for inspection

When applying for inspection, the "Entry Goods Inspection Form" should be filled out and relevant documents such as foreign trade contracts (or exhibition letters and telegrams), invoices, loading and unloading (transportation) forms should be provided.

When exhibition items from the United States, Japan, South Korea, and the European Union enter the country, the declarant must submit the corresponding quarantine certificate or declaration in accordance with the relevant regulations on wooden packaging.

Animals, plants, and their products that require quarantine approval should provide corresponding quarantine approval procedures.

If the imported exhibition items are old mechanical and electrical products, relevant certificates should be obtained according to the registration procedures for old mechanical and electrical products.
