Regulations and precautions related to exhibition design
There are various management regulations and restrictions on exhibition design and construction in various countries and regions. Do you understand that many regulations and restrictions are related to maintaining public safety and order?
(1) Regulations regarding exhibition booths. Height restrictions: Exhibitions have restrictions on exhibition stands and exhibits, especially for double decker booths, stairs, and structures extending outward from the top of the booth. Height restrictions are often not prohibited from exceeding the height limit. If relevant procedures are completed and technical standards are met, it may be allowed to build exhibition stands and arrange exhibits beyond the height limit. Opening restrictions: Many exhibitions prohibit fully enclosed booths. If the booth is closed, the exhibition will lose its display function and visitors will complain. However, exhibitors need to close their offices, negotiation rooms, warehouses, etc. Therefore, the coordination method is generally to stipulate a certain proportion of the area to be opened outward. This ratio is generally 70%, allowing for the closure of less than 30% of the area.
(2) Regulations on exhibition equipment. Restrictions on exhibition materials: In many countries, exhibitions require the use of fire-resistant materials, restrict the use of plastics, and limit the use of hazardous chemicals. Regulations on Electrical Appliances: Most countries' exhibitions have strict regulations on electrical appliances, and the technical indicators of the appliances used must comply with local regulations and requirements.
(3) Regulations regarding the flow of people. Corridor restriction: mainly refers to the regulation and limitation of corridor width. In order to ensure smooth flow of people, exhibitions stipulate corridor width and prohibit exhibitors' booths, props, and works from occupying the corridor; Television and retail products often cause congestion, so there are corresponding requirements, such as the TV not facing the aisle, and the counter must be at a certain distance from the aisle.
(4) Regulations on fire safety. Regulations on fire protection environment: If it is a large exhibition booth, emergency passages or exits must be set up in proportion to the exhibition area and expected number of visitors, and signs must be set up. Regulations on firefighting equipment: Firefighting equipment must be equipped. Personnel regulations: Some exhibitions require booths to designate a fire safety officer and require all booth personnel to be aware of fire safety regulations and emergency exits.
